Dean Isaacson -- Banquet & Roast June 4, 2009
The Garden Room at The Gateway Hotel Friday evening was filled with many special memories & stories about Dean as he was 'roasted' by family, friends, students, and colleagues.

Dean's grandchildren voiced in unison their excitement as they anticipate spending even more time with their 'Grandpa Dean'. They shared with the rest of us a few of the many events and fun they have had with 'Grandpa'.
Many shared how he had influenced and encouraged them. Many shared funny events. Some shared times that only the two of them knew...it would touch your heart but not surprise you, because that is the Dean that everyone knew.
And when the 'roasting' was done, Dean would say in his humble way..."you should only believe about half of it"...but I say...I'm sure there were many more tributes that could have been given...so I'm increasing it exponentially Dean!
