Tandem Queues with Blocking and Deterministic Service

Abstract
This paper presents structural expressions for the queue waiting time
and inter-station blocking times for tandem queues with blocking and
deterministic service times. These expressions are validated by induction.
Limiting distributions of these quantities are given for the case of
two stages and Poisson arrivals, using the queue waiting time
distribution for the M/D/1 queue.
