Public Labs
The department operates several public labs in the
building. - Pearson 0113 is our
JMP lab. The machines have the same set of software as the other labs :
Dell GX 270's, IMac's, Public Printer
- Carver
205 is our only lab with SPSS, and it has Dell
GX620 with Public Printer and Overhead Projector
The labs all have the same software,
Policies:
- These labs are open to the public when not in use
by classes.
- Carver 205 is open M-Th from 8 AM to 8:00 PM and
F 8AM to 4PM.
- Pearson 0113 is open M-F from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Pearson 0113 is available for JMP help in the
afternoons (schedule
is online).
- Statistics Grad students have access to the Pearson 0113 lab
during off hours with their access
card.
- Machines that have a user logged in during the
open hours can be restarted if a student needs it for a class.
- The machines will automatically restart every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning.
- Every hour each machine is shut down if no user
is logged in.
