Notes on Printing

• All Snedecor PaperCut printers cost 3 units per page.
• Duplexed jobs are discounted to 2 units per side.
• Duplexing is the default for all Snedecor PaperCut printers.

How to Add Department PaperCut Printers on Windows

• Install the Papercut Client
  1. Download PaperCut 9.5 from ITS
  2. Extract the contents of "PaperCutWindows-v9.5.zip" to a folder on your hard drive.
  3. Double-click "client-local-install.exe" to launch the installer.
  4. It is recommended you leave the default options in the installer and click "Next" through all the screens.
  5. Click "Install"
  
• Add a printer
  1. Goto Control Panel-> Printers-> Add A Printer
  2. Select Network Printer
  3. In the shared printer field fill in "\\papercut.its.iastate.edu\[your printer name here]"

Mounting the Graduate Copier

• 1. Open My Computer
• 2. Enter \\stat in the location bar.
• 3. Double click Snedecor-Grad-Copier to mount the printer.
