The CIS Extended Database is a valuable resource available to researchers needing quick literature searches in the fields of probability and statistics. CIS users have immediate online access to references of over 200,000 articles.
The CIS Database indexes articles from the Annals (back to 1960), Journal of the American Statistical Association (JASA) (back to 1955), Technometrics (back to 1959), and Biometrics, Biometrika, Applied Statistics, JRSS (Series A & B), Sankhya (Series A & B) and Econometrica (back to 1965), and The American Statistician (back to 1947), and many other journals.
Iowa State University students, faculty, and staff now have access to CIS on the web. This web version of CIS may be run from any machine on campus with a DSName ending in iastate.edu. It may also be run from any home machine running VPN. An ISU IT video tutorial for installing VPN is available (choose VPN from the list).
