TITLE:
Hot Deck Imputation for Survey Samples
 

ABSTRACT:

Hot deck imputation procedures based on imputation cells are used to compensate for nonresponse in survey samples.We describe such imputation procedures and present a fully efficient version of fractional imputation.  It is shown that it is possible to construct replication variance estimators that are consistent for the variance of linear estimators.  The estimators and variance estimators can be implemented with existing software.
