TITLE: Planning for the Future
 
 ABSTRACT
 
New faculty and graduate students will be introduced.  Graduate student recipients of the Kempthorne Award, the Vera David Fellowships, the Holly and Beth Fryer Scholarship and the Eli Lilly dissertation fellowship will be announced.  This year the Department of Statistics will develop a new strategic plan in preparation for an anticipated external review in Spring 2006.  Professor Koehler will review new initiatives and comment on some issues to be considered in the new strategic plan and upcoming external review.
