SAS Online Documentation

SAS OnDemand For Academics

SAS made its OnDemand Program for Academics free beginning in 2010. The program allows faculty and students to download SAS Enterprise Guide, a GUI driven front end to SAS servers at SAS headquarters in Cray, NC. Read on for more info…

Why use this program?

  • There is no need for students and faculty to install SAS on their computers in order to run SAS code.
  • The Enterprise Guide is a great tool for introducing students to the power of SAS without getting too bogged with the programming.
  • It is available at no cost.

If you are using a Windows computer

Who can use this program?

  • Instructors who are teaching courses with SAS are eligible.
  • The instructor then sends an email to their students with instructions on how to sign up.

How can I find out more information?

  • Email Stat IT
  • Check out what SAS says about this program here
