The Department of Statistics held a celebration to honor the student award recipients from the spring semester. The event celebrated the achievements of several students for various awards. The Research Excellence Award recipients were Qinglong Tian, Hengfang Wang and Geoffrey Thompson, awarded for their outstanding research accomplishments. The Teaching Excellence Award recipients were Kanak Choudhury, Kellie McClernon, Marie Hardt, Grant Cabrera, Debosmita Kundu, Charlotte Roiger, Hana Lee and Nathan Friedrichsen, awarded for their outstanding teaching achievements.
The department extends sincere congratulations to all of the awardees.
