R workshop: Advanced graphics in R

Abstract:

We will discuss the more elaborate aspects of the ggplot2 package: more advanced plots, such as maps, time series charts and maybe even animations. All of these are based on the layering system of ggplot. You should have a good understanding of ggplot2 basics (qplot and facetting) to make the most of this course (the previous workshop will help you get up to speed for it).
