Title: Bayesian Analyses in R
Abstract: Bayesian analyses are becoming increasingly common in the literature. Many of these analyses utilize R packages to perform these analyses. We'll discuss the resources for performing Bayesian analyses in R including the LearnBayes package for learning about Bayesian statistics and the Bayesian CRAN Task View for finding relevant R packages. Simple examples for performing basic yet publishable Bayesian analyses using conjugate priors will be shown. More advanced analyses will be performed using the general-purpose Stan sampling engine through the R interface packages rstanarm and cmdstanr. No prior knowledge of Bayesian statistics will be assumed.
