Title: Semi-Supervised Linear Regression

Abstract: In this talk, I will review the work of Azriel et al. (2022), a paper published in JASA entitled "Semi-Supervised Linear Regression". They claim, and can actually get, a more efficient estimator of the regression coefficient between two variables X and Y in their framework compared to standard OLS. I will explain their idea and demonstrate how it fits into the survey statistics literature, which is a useful framework for understanding their work.
