Love Data Week is an international celebration of data that takes place every year during the week of Valentines Day. Iowa State University will be participating in the global event for the first time this year. The 2024 theme is "My Kind of Data: Data is Personal." Participants will learn about data equity and inclusion, disciplinary communities, and creating a kinder world through data.

Love Data Week Activities:

Data Viz Contest

Submit an original data visualization for a chance to win a Visa Giftcard: First: $150; Second: $75; and Third: $50.

Data visualization is the translation of data into a visual medium such as a map, chart, infographic, 3D-model, or even art pieces. It's also a fun, creative, and effective way to communicate complex ideas through shape, color, size, intensity, and more. Captivate us with your visuals, tell a compelling story, tackle real-world problems, build skills, and have fun.
