The Department of Statistics will host the 2026 annual meeting of the Iowa chapter of the American Statistical Association (ASA) on February 27, 2026.  A tentative schedule of events includes poster presentations by both undergraduate and graduate Statistics majors from universities in Iowa, a discussion panel on the activities of statisticians at National Laboratories in the United States with remote participation from former graduates now working at those facilities, and a question and answer session run by current graduate students for undergraduates considering going to graduate school in statistics.  We also hope to have a problem challenge, in which groups of participants (undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty) participate in a consulting experience, and a tutorial on meta-analysis.  All faculty, students, and anyone involved with the professional application of statistics are encouraged to attend.  Registration and further details will be forthcoming, and will be available on the website of the Iowa Chapter ASA.
