Join the LunchinatoR's for a data visualization exercise.

The exercise will be based on the tornado data set, which consists of all tornados in the US from 1950 – 2022, with information about location (start and end), states traversed, damage. The data are in tornados.csv.  A short explanation of data fields in in info.xlsx.  FYI, FIPS are US standard codes for states or states/counties. These data could be looked at lots of different ways.

For the meeting on March 1, prepare a graphic (or two) illustrating a pattern you think is interesting. Be prepared to describe what you were trying to illustrate and what you found. The audience will evaluate how well that graphic illustrates your point, and (secondarily) the quality of that visualization.
