The Department of Statistics at Iowa State University is working with the Heartland Area Education Agency (Heartland AEA) to organize an opportunity for high school teachers to earn Licensure Renewal Credits.
Credit will be available to high school teachers who attend the US Conference on Teaching Statistics (USCOTS) hosted by the Department of Statistics at Iowa State University.
The name of the course offered with Heartland AEA is “HL - US Conference on Teaching Statistics.” To receive credit, high school teachers must attend sessions at USCOTS at Iowa State University for a minimum of 15 hours per License Renewal Credit (1 or 2 credits offered). Participants will then write a short reflection paper summarizing what they learned at the conference.
