Philip Dixon, university professor, has been selected as a recipient of the 2023-24 LAS Award for Outstanding Achievement in Extension or Professional Practice. The LAS Award for Outstanding Achievement in Extension or Professional Practice aims to acknowledge faculty, campus staff, or field staff members who have demonstrated outstanding performance in leadership in extension and/or professional practice, achieving national recognition for their contributions to outreach activities. Eligible recipients must have at least 10 years of service at Iowa State in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will honor Dixon's achievement at the LAS Fall Convocation and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
