Statistics graduate students Federico Veneri and Yuhang Lin won the University Library’s first-ever International Love Data Week data visualization contest on February 16.
Veneri received first place and $150 for his entry “(Not) Sleeping Like A Baby,” a visual representation of a newborn’s sleep schedule. Lin won second prize for his entry "Statistics, Ratings on Bangumi,” earning him $75.
Their contributions highlight the talent and dedication of Iowa State's Statistics students and underscore the department's commitment to excellence in data visualization.
