A paper co-authored by Department of Statistics Ph.D. graduate Yonghyun Kwon (first author) and Professor Jae-Kwang Kim (second author) has been published in the Journal of the American Statistical Association (JASA).
The paper is titled Debiased Calibration Estimation Using Generalized Entropy in Survey Sampling and is based on Kwon's doctoral dissertation. It introduces novel methods of calibration weighting in survey samples.
Yumou Qiu is the article's third author and former statistics faculty member. He is now at Peking University.
