The Iowa Chapter of the American Statistical Association hosted its third annual student-focused event on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Iowa State University. The day-long program brought together statisticians from across the state and provided professional development opportunities for students at all levels.
The event featured a morning tutorial on meta-analysis, followed by poster presentations by undergraduate and graduate students during an extended lunch period. The afternoon included a panel discussion on statistical activities at National Laboratories in the United States, offering students insight into career opportunities in government research facilities.
