Meet associate professor Ruoyu Wu

“I applied for the courtesy appointment in STAT because of the collaboration and mentoring opportunities,” Wu said.

Wu’s research focuses on stochastic processes, with particular interest in the asymptotic analysis of mean-field interacting particle systems on random graphs. This has applications in queueing systems and deep neural networks.

Wu was honored with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Award for Early Achievement in Research in 2025.
