Professor Dan Nordman named fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics

Dan NordmanStatistics Professor Dan Nordman has been named Fellows of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS).  

Created in 1935, the Institute of Mathematical Statistics is an international professional and scholarly society devoted to the development, dissemination, and application of statistics and probability. The Institute currently has about 4,000 members in all parts of the world.  Dan was honored "for fundamental contributions to the theory and applications of computer-intensive nonparametric methods, including the Bootstrap and Empirical Likelihood, for time series and spatial data."
