Professor Lily Wang named fellow of the American Statistical Association

Lily WangStatistics Professor Lily Wang was recently elected a fellow of the American Statistical Association, the world’s largest community of statisticians. 

To be selected, nominees must have an established reputation and have made outstanding contributions to statistical science according to ASA. The Committee on Fellows evaluates each candidate’s contributions to the advancement of statistical science and places due weight on published works, position held with employer, ASA activities, membership and accomplishments in other societies, and professional activities.  Fellowship is limited to no more than one-third of one percent of the membership in a given year.
