Two Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Statistics Positions

The Department of Statistics at Iowa State University seeks two tenure-track assistant professors with expertise in statistics and data science. Successful candidates will develop and sustain a high-quality and high-impact research program, successfully compete for external funding, and collaborate with world-class researchers at Iowa State University in statistics and other disciplines. Further, successful candidates will engage in professional and institutional service, teach undergraduate students, and teach and advise graduate students in one of the first and largest statistics graduate programs in the country.

Graduate Student Services Specialist

The Graduate Student Services Specialist II will assist graduate students in the department with various questions, paperwork and tasks, provide academic advising and support as needed, and assist faculty with questions about graduate student support in accordance with department, college, and Graduate College policies and guidance. This position will maintain graduate student records and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate will also support graduate student recruiting, admissions, and appointments to graduate assistantships.
